Thridhaa

Yoga Therapy

Therapeutic yoga practices customised to your constitution and condition — not general fitness, but targeted healing of body and mind through the ancient science of yoga.

Yoga as medicine, not exercise

Yoga Therapy at Thridhaa is a clinical application of yogic science, designed not for general fitness or flexibility, but as a targeted therapeutic system for healing specific conditions and restoring balance in the body’s systems.

Unlike a typical yoga class, each session at Thridhaa is personally designed by Triveni Anantharama based on your pulse diagnosis, dosha type, and specific health condition. No two sessions are alike — because no two bodies are.

“Yoga is not about touching your toes. It is about what you learn on the way down — about your body, your breath, and your inner balance.”

The practice integrates asana (postures), pranayama (breath regulation), pratyahara (sense withdrawal), and deep relaxation techniques — each chosen to work on the specific organ, system, or energetic channel that needs healing.

Benefits of Yoga Therapy

Respiratory Healing

Pranayama techniques expand lung capacity, clear obstructions, and oxygenate every cell — essential for asthma, bronchitis, and fatigue.

Nervous System Regulation

Specific asanas and breathwork activate the parasympathetic nervous system — reducing cortisol, anxiety, and chronic stress response.

Spinal & Joint Relief

Therapeutic postures gently decompress the spine, lubricate joints, and restore proper alignment — healing back pain, arthritis, and stiffness.

Hormonal Balance

Inversions and targeted asanas stimulate the endocrine glands — thyroid, adrenal, and reproductive — correcting hormonal imbalances naturally.

Cardiovascular Support

Gentle, mindful movement combined with breathwork reduces blood pressure, improves circulation, and supports cardiac health without strain.

Pranic Energy Restoration

Yogic practices move prana (life force) through the nadis (energy channels), clearing blockages and restoring vitality at a cellular level.

How a session unfolds

Constitution Assessment

Triveni reads your pulse and assesses your dosha type to understand which yoga practices will heal — not aggravate — your condition.

Sequence Design

A personalised sequence is created — specific asanas in a precise order, with breath ratios and hold durations calibrated for your healing goal.

Guided Practice

Each session is guided personally, with attention to alignment, breath quality, and the subtle feedback your body gives in each posture.

Deep Relaxation

Every session ends with yoga nidra or guided relaxation — the state where the nervous system resets and the body integrates all healing work.
